Abhainn Dubh Ltd. has submitted a Planning Application under Section 36 of the Electricity Act 1989 to the Scottish Government’s Energy Consents Unit (ECU) seeking consent for the Abhainn Dubh Wind Farm. This application also applies for a direction under Section 57(2) of the Town and County Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 for planning permission for the development to be granted.

The consultation period for the planning application commences on 6 June 2023 and will run until 13 July 2023. Any persons wishing to make a formal representation should do so by contacting the ECU on their website, by email or by post, quoting the application reference ECU00004732. We also continue to welcome comments and feedback on our proposals at any stage of the application, although please note these will not count as formal representations.
